Cirque Du LA: A Dreamstage Exhibition is Louisiana’s premier aerial and dance theatrical exhibition, blending the artistry of pole, slings, lyra, silks, trapeze, ballet, contemporary, theatrical performance, and more into one unforgettable evening. This PG 13 one-of-a-kind showcase brings together dancers from studios across the state, also featuring performers from Houston, TX, to create a tapestry of movement, storytelling, and imagination.

The production follows the story of a visually impaired dreamer who is gifted sight by the Dark Lord of Nightmares, only to uncover the truth of what it means to truly see. With the theme “Sweet Dreams & Nightmares,” every act invites you to journey through the whimsical, the haunting, and the extraordinary. Transforming the stage into a dreamscape unlike anything Louisiana has ever seen.

Cirque Du LA is a celebration of courage, creativity, and community. It is a chance for artists to shine, for studios to unite, and for audiences to experience the magic of aerial dance.

Auditions

We will first be accepting auditions for group, duo, and trio acts. Soloist auditions will open shortly after this first round.

• Studio group numbers: Only one application is required per group. Please list all participating dancers/performers on the submission.

• New Cirque performers: If you have never performed in Cirque Du LA before, you must submit a 30-second to 1-minute performance clip, even if you are auditioning as part of a group.

• Selection priority: Our first round of casting will prioritize group, duo, and trio performances.

• Interested in a solo? Being cast in a group, duo, or trio does not prevent you from auditioning as a soloist when solo auditions open.

Please make sure all performer names, contact information, act/apparatus, and studio affiliation (if applicable) are included in your submission.
